  • TWILIGHT So, i really loved this movie. I just Hope that stephanie Meyer publishes Midnight Sun. I really loved Robert Pattenson for the part of Edward. He makes me think Dirty thoughts! I love him. I am completely Team Edward. No doutb about it. Tho i loved the movie it was because of the Books. I think that the movie needed more of what the book had in it. It was really depressing when some of the things in the movie didnt happen in the book. It bugge me at the end when edward was sucking the venom out of her, he stopped in the book because he loved her, and in the movie he semmed that he wanted to kill her. I loved how he stopped in the book and was trying to do his best to save her and not suck her bloood. Apart from those things tho, i did like the movie and i cant wait till the next movies =]

  • Newsflash: the Twilight movie sucks! I totally agree with Hellil!

I am also "thoroughly disappointed with this movie." There are too many differences without good justification. Everything seemed to happen in seconds and make it look like there was no love present, only infatuation. The movie SHOULD have better demonstrated there urging, buring, heart-felt lovev, but they made it seem like a simple, silly crush.

Yes, i know that the movie will never be as good as the book...HOWEVER...even if i would have never read the books, i would have still been disapointed! It lacked ANY emotional content, even for your average movie. I don't think that anyone with sense would ACTUALLY think that this was a good movie. The only reason for the hype is b/c of how amazing the books were.

& the movie was only a little over an hour & a half. Why not make it last an extra hour or so? The time is needed to make the movie actually good! Do you think it would have been wise to cut an hour or hour and a half out of any of the Harry Potters or Titanic which were both hugggeee?! No!

ANY true twilight fan or fan of a good movie sees that the direction and writing behind this movie did not do the Twilight series OR the movie industry ANY justice! It was sheerly pathetic and horrible!

I'm so angry at this huge disappointment and how wrong it all was! I am also so mad at the many "fans" who think it is good. You can tell that they say it is good sheerly because it is Twilight or sheerly for attention. Any true fan sees how WRONG this is. There is no other word to describe this atrocity other than WRONG!

  • Review of Movie okay I am a huge twilight fan and am going to be as honest as possible with no disrespect to the book in any way. I am really sad after watching the film because there was so much wrong. The scenes were rushed which left out detail as well as other important scenes that should have been in the movie. Some acting parts were really cheesy and seemed to rehearsed. People were laughing in the theatre in parts which were so significant and emotional in the book which really made me upset. Jasper did not fit the part and Rosalie was not at all anywhere near the explanation of the character, they could have easily picked someone more beautiful. Edward and Bella were perfect, but I wish they would have acted out the emotion better. At times edward came off as a weirdo talking like a robot. There was just so much they could have done to make it better. I know there is too much to fit into 2 hours of a film but if they really wanted to they could have added an extra half hour just to portray everything building up to their intense relationship because that afterall is what the book is about. It seemed in the film like they met and after a day they were deeply in love. I feel as if anyone who didnt read the book would go both ways and would either hate it and wonder why so many people love it or they would like the story line becaus they wouldnt know the details in which were left out. Im just really sad to say anything negative about the film because I was soo excited about it. I really hope that these reviews are heard and the prevent the next ones from ruining the books. I hope others out there think differently and were satisfied with the film..because I wasnt.

  • Twilight Review Although i am in love with the Twilight Saga, the movie was kind of disappointing. They took out important scenes and added things that was never there. They switch locations of where each scene took place. Basically they were just skimming the plot line of the book.

The movie was still good and i will definately be purchasing it when it comes to video, of course. I only wish that the screenplay would have stuck to the story line of the book more.

I will definately be watching it again, and i can't wait for the next movie, New Moon, to come to theaters.

  • Twilight the dumbest movie of all time I have not seen the movie yet but i have seen the trailors and although twilight is the best book in the universe (love the sequels too) I think the movie is going to be terrible. It'll be alot like eragon actually. Of course it isn't as good but if you've read/seen it you'll know what I mean.

  • The Movie After reading all four books in a two week period, i feel in love with the story line and the characters. When i heard the movie was coming out, i experiences varying emotions, firstly excited that i would get to revisit the beloved characters from the book, like every geeky spoiler person i tried to find out as much information as i could about the movie. Then the gray cloud of doubt started to bother me, the actors they choose, where completely different to what i imagined in my head.
The first time i saw the movie, i was a little disappointed, the only characters that i thought reflected the book where Emmett, Alice and Victoria, once i saw the actor/actresses in the movie i realized how perfect they were for the parts.
I went and saw the movie a couple more times, thanks to different groups of friends dragging me a long and each time i appreciated it a little more. The only major disappointments in my opinion were the Car scene with Bella and Edward ( i think stephanie wrote this perfectly, the whole joke about running over tyler, i think was alot more amusing than the seat belt. I also imagined a whole "wanted movie slide into the car scene for Edwards rescue). Jacob's introduction in the book, also flows alot better in the book to roll into the sequels. TBC

  • Twilight review Welcome enter freely of your own will, i am court Dracula seeing a film like that got me hooked as a fan of horror ,and vampire movies. And like most who watch these films we think we know a thing or two. This film is a adaptation of a series of record breaking successful books that is continuing to grow. Seems fans and non fans alike think the movie is pretty cool. The film is already achieving box office success, and there probably will be a sequel. Robert Pattinson who you might remember from harry potter films plays a lead. The type back in school days who's the loner, not much friends, but if he ever spoke was quiet knowledgeable in things. And he keeps staring into space, other worldly sort off, So your always imaging his father;s an axe murderer. . Did i just have a flash back anyways. In the movie a character called PETER ,FACINELLI says The family that slays together, stays together. Nice touches of humor here and there. Starting off very interesting, build up of a deer being hunted by something a werewolf perhaps a vampire whoa hold on too your seat. I thought yep this is goner be a good, from the way that thing moved yeah ,hunts on. But as the film went on it occurred too me i was left unfulfilled. Thou as far as vampire romance, fighting the urges and great effects, some action, and it is nicely filmed. It had some of the basic vamp film ingredients. Again thou in the main As in any great vamp film the force of love fight against the force of evil, could have been more looked into darker much darker, cause ultimitly we know what vampires are capable of there strength and weakness so i still could'nt get the question out of me head -i'm not chilled too the blood. I seen vamp killed regenerate, raise again, and fill the screen with strange allure of a unknown world, yet i felt, armed only with holy water and my old school pencil case, and a picture of van hellsing i could have despatched these vampires, maybe not.

  • twilight saga new moon for all the twilight fans out there, I think the movie was great. For example there was much more fighting in this movie than the last move and Jake Black (the hottest character) in almost all the scenes had his shirt off. We all know Bella Swan is going to turn into a vampire. EDWARD <3 <3 is going to marry Bella because at the end of New Moon he purposes to her! In the next movie Eclipse I here that Bella turns into a vampire and has a baby.

  • Twilight The Let-down I actually don't care if she dies or not- I am never going to waste money on a movie by that idiot again. I threw up after I wrote that review, and I am about to throw up now. AWFUL... it hurts me to think about how such a wonderful piece of amazingness like Twilight could cause some moron to say "hey! i think i'll make a movie today!" and then the rest is just a puddle of vomit in my hallway that I could not hold in to make it to the bathroom. darn...

  • after seeing Twilight 4 times..... Ive seen the movie 4 times and I must say it gets better the more times you watch it.....and I really do appreciate Catherine Hardwickes arty raw approach to the story. I even like the sombre broody music and almost disjointed editing. I thought it was a very mature interpretation. It could have easily become a commercial streamlined spoon fed love story for the masses - but she managed to give it an arthouse edge. I even made my husband watch it (who hates gooey love story movies) - and even he got the directors vision and enjoyed it! and now wants to come with me to the sequel.
Ive pulled apart the movie, acting, music and scenes in everyway possible - and I still come up happy with the end product in the four times Ive seen it. Im even going for a fifth time this week with a friend who hasnt been able to see it yet. Am kinda disappointed Catherine isnt directing the rest as I enjoy her raw approach (but then again I really liked her other pieces of work - Thirteen, Lords of Dogtown) so I get her vision and understand how she tries to bring some truth to the characters.
What I find interesting is how many comments Ive read saying the movie is cheesy. Im all about cheesy movies, love stories and will cry at the drop of a hat with gooeyness.....but I didnt cry once during this and found that that I was more moved by their ever growing intensity for eachother rather then my heart fluttering and myself becoming a blubbering mess....the movie left me wanting more....which is probably why Ive watched it so many times!
I think the movie could have used more dialogue between Edward and Bella. I adored watching them interact and wanted to hear more and more of their conversations and ever growing sexual tension. Thats the only thing I think it lacked.....
but I do recommend watching it again to anyone who may have been disappointed the first time. The second time round things come together better...

  • Twilight nothing I had expected She wasnt well portrayed as an uncoordinated clutz and she failed to show expression most of teh time. The only expressions you get are 'blah' and 'GRRR'. I think Edward had the right look (Robert made a good Edward) but again expression and attention to the character expectations. I admit I was one of the people screaming SILVER VOLVO SILVER VOLVO when he saved Bella. The power of the car was well put. The shimmering in the sunlight was stunning. Absolutely perfect. I was so proud. I didnt REALLY get into the movie until the baseball scene. That had my adrenaline pumping. I wishe the vampires would have looked more firce and that they would have mentioned hunting a little more but it was okay. One last thing I would like to comment on is that they definately caught on to the awkwardness between Bella and Charlie. That was definately there. Overall I''d say the movie was 'eh' and I wouldnt go again to see it in theaters and if I were to buy it, it would only be to watch the baseball scene again, which I can probubly look up on youtube anyway. And yes I do realize my review is very up and down but it is all what I thought. Thanks for reading and hope you comment positively on my review.
