Yeah, I'm new, too. And yeah, I REALLY THINK THEY FOUND THE PERFECT EDWARD!!!!! Certainly didn't offend me. Everyone at my school just loves Edward!!!! Including me!!! There's even this girl who's so obsessed with him she won't quit saying, "Edward is hot and sexy!" I'm totally on Team Edward!!!!!!!!!!!! :)

I agree. I think he was the perfect person to play Edward. He looks great as the character and he's a great actor too!

he is the perfect edward. his features fit the books description so well- he really looks as if he was carved out of marble! he has a gorgeous facial structure , and perfectly suited since he isn't some dime-a-dozen pretty boy. he isn't merely attractive, he has a unique look that works amazingly in the film...and he looks gorgeous chalk white...though i could be biased on that because i've always thought pale skin was attractive. lol.but honestly, it was the way he acted that made his portrayal so enjoyable to watch, i still can't believe how well he translated the mannerisms from book edward to screen edward. and he has the sexiest way of speaking i've ever heard- sad for us americans since the one time an american accent is sexy is when it's being spoken by a non-american! ahh! conversely i have always loved the name edward and now i am scared it will attain ridiculous popularity because everyone loves these books. although i love that the character i love has a name ive always loved...

i responded agreeing with your assessment of him in the movie,but personally i DO think he's the god-of-all-that-is-beautiful. heh.i feel bad for the guy, he seems self conscious in his interviews although he's a great actor because he carries none of that into his role as edward.... i know he saw some of the comments that basically said "get anyone else, please" when he was first cast in the role... that had to suck. i'll try not to feel too bad for him since he must also know that thousands of girls also think what i think- you know- god-of-all-that-is-beautiful type sentiments. lol. If only he were on this site now n saw what all you lovely people have written... : ) I agree he is very quiet in interviews, check out the champions extra on the 4th harry potter dvd to see how much this is really the case... and it is allot!! : ) Do you find this valuable? |

no one can make everyone happy and the actual diehard book lovers that are so picky kinda were swept away in the tidal flood of hormonal teenage girls anyway the critics have changed

The critics that i respect have had good and productive comments to say. They have also read the books so they know what there talking about, unlike the stupid people on rotten tomatos.com! : ) Do you find this valuable? |

well i am looking forawrd to seeing how their acting progresses, new moon will be particularly difficult for kristen as she has to get the pain accross to the audience.....The most difficult part for Rob i think will be with the volutri, particularly with the evil Jayne.... they're only going to improve with age and time and experience.... : ) Do you find this valuable? |

i have 2 agree cuz robert pattinson is truly the perfect edwrd cullen yeah some may say he is 2 ugly but like the bio says people fell in love with him in harry potter and the goblet of fire i know i did. and if u really think about it if people actually thought he was not the perfect edward then y is twilight such a hit right now almost every1 here is already reserving their copy of the movie and it stills has a month before it comes out. i mean honestly if people actually believe that comment then who would actually be the perfect edward cullen
