hi evryone, have you guys got a glimpse of robert pattinson at the oscars? i sure did. although i am not an oscars fan and all, well, it was first time to watch oscars this year--- it was all because of the news that our edward cullen is presenting....i just finished breaking dawn...so i'm quite down now since the habit has come to a halt...but we can always share the passion thru these forums ryt? i hope to meet you all...it would be fun to see the coven...the family....

good / bad idea
I realize that this is probably the wrong place to write somthing like this but I'm going to do it anyway. Now please, read it till the end if you are truly interested.
Twilight, the world-wide best selling book, is a WONDERFUL idea. I mean, just the thought of vampires appeals to my senses. But, the development is... left in the really early stages.
There are only a few problem that I can see in the writing, but they are HUGE problems all the same. For example, and this is the biggest pet peev: none, and I mean none of the characters have personalities. If you were to take a line of anyone from the book, you wouldn't be able to tell who was saying it. It could be Bella, Edward, Jacob, Charlie, Alice, and list goes on. Now (agian, I know that this is a bad idea), J.K. Rowling had a good idea. There are distinct differences between the characters. Harry is courageous, intelegent, and has a heart the size of Hogwarts. Hermione is Brilliant, proper, and in the first 5 of the books, always follows the rules. In contrast, Edward is... old, dead, likes clasical music. That isn't a lot of detail. Bella is even worse. The only thing that makes her appeal to Edward is the scent of her blood: a last resort. The personalities are to close together, and that causes the writing to be bad.
One last thing. Has anyone noticed how EVERYONE says 'ugh'? EVERYONE. They are like clones of eachother, cuz of the same personalities and word choice.
Now, again, I have no problem with the IDEA that the books/movie stand for. All that I'm saying is that it could have been further developed. That's all.

"i like it do it again!!!" hmmmm hmmm hmmm hmm hmmmmmm
what to ramble about that is relevant to twilight!!!!! welll i had to buy lots of different magazines for teching and one included bliss (a crappy teen magazine) and they had a section on bliss lads in love! guess who it included rob pattinson...... i could not believe that he did this magazine its soo dreadful!! and i do not want to say what he said on love because it will make all the crazy fan girls go wild and shouty and we do not want that on the forums so if any fans girls read this and want to know what he said go to bliss website its probabaly on there...... why isnt stewart on covers and in british mags! i mean surely she's a positive role model i mean especially as she wants to be a producer and not a 'star', is a positive image for girls and distracts from naff and truely pathetic useless people like paris hilton and katie price!!!! it makes me sick to think about it and that there are a million biographies on pattinson cus he is attractive and there's none on stewart it just makes me hate the industry in that respect!!!

I agree, thats what the forum is for to state opinions and talk to people to hear their views on the book and characters.
It is important for jacob to be understood deeper because of how we feel about bella and edward, and we may agree with him or not. Personally i fell for the dude he's been put through some crap and i have to have respect for the character because he's soo passionate and characters like this could only come from a book. which kinda makes the world a little smaller and darker......
