The Twilight book was incredibly amazing, plenty of action and story line to keep your eyes glued for hours. The movie, however, was disappointing.

I think the movie skimmed over too much of the story line. There was no gradual lead up to the love between Bella and Edward. The Edward and Bella in the book are way different than the ones we saw on screen. I felt no love or compassion with the actors of the movie, possibly because there was not enough passion put into the script to get them into character. Yes, there was alot of book to cram into movie, which is why in my opinion the movie should of A. Happened in two or three parts, or B. Not have been made into a movie, but yet a series where the true Twilight Story would shine through capturing all the wonderful parts the readers know by heart. I wanted to feel the passion and intensity from Edward and Bella, yet all I got was forced parts. Even the parts from other characters of the book were down played like Alice and the other Vampires. I hate to see such a wonderful masterpiece from this Author go south with the movies when the books were such a hit. The one question that comes to mind would have to be - Did the writers/staff of the movie even read the books?-
