The Great Debate Begins

There are so many things wrong with it, I haven't time or space to discuss them all. But the worst part is the protagonist/narrator, Bella Swan. She's whiny, self-pitying, dull, and completely self-absorbed. She has no interests or passions to speak of until she gets caught up in her obsessive love for a vampire named Edward.

Edward, for his part, is obsessed with Bella because she's the one human he's met whose mind he cannot read. What Edward doesn't realize, however, is that there is nothing there worth reading. Bella may be mysterious to him, but the laughable part is that she's just a human

his-topaz-eyes14	Lady Romaisa	Twilight is a book for young adults! The plot might seem childish to an older adult and of course the action is limited it's the first book in the series it's about Edward and Bella falling in love. If you don't like those type of books then why did you read it?
AliceCullen.	All Of You B****es	Listen, if you didn't like the book, why bother LOOKing at this site toexaggerateover how much you hate it? Let alone, finding this site to begin with. Sure, Steph takes awhile to create characters, but if she didn't, it wouldn't be much of a love story now, would it? And, she kind of had to do that because in the next book, Edward leaves. If Bella hadn't loved him so much, she wouldn't care of his leaving, and her and that jerk Jacob would fall in wolfy love. Yay. What a great VAMPIRE love story: Bella falls in love with perfect Edward, he dumps her, and she's left with Jacob Black. Nice. You guys just have no idea of what you're talking about, so why bother.

Soph3000	To all of the Twilight Haters	So what if you don't like the book, there are about a million other people love it including me. You are not correct that it was probably written for teenage girls, I know a lot of guys who love this book. If you all think that Stephanie Meyer does not have the talent to write a good book, I bet that all of you Twilight haters don't have half of her talent. The point is that many people think that it is a wonderful book that inspires a lot of teenagers to become writer like Stephanie Meyer. Plus if all of You Twilight Haters hate Twilight, why would you Go to a Twilight Fan Page?
