Taylor Lautner

Taylor Lautner was born on February 11th, 1992 in Grand Rapids, Michigan. He began studying karate at the age of six and by the following year he was winning tournaments. He was invited at the age of eight to train with Mike Chat, a seven time world karate champion. He represented his country in the 12 years and under division in the World Karate Association, where he became the Junior World Forms and Weapsons Champion, winning three gold medals. In 2003 at the age of eleven he was ranked number one in the world for NASKA’s Black Belt Open Forms, Musical Weapsons, Traditional Weapons and Tranditional Forms. By the age of twelve he had three Junior World Champinships. In his spare time he loves playing football and baseball. He also participates in the LA Hip Kids, a hip-hop dance group.
