Nikki Reed was born May 17, 1988 in West Los Angeles, California. She grew up in Culver City, California, where her mother still resides. Nikki wrote the script for the movie Thirteen in six days while she was on Winter Holiday. Not only did she write it she was also the director and says it is a partially autobiographical film about her rebellious life as a thirteen year old. She moved out on her own when she was 14. She also loves to go horseback riding.
