Forever Chocolate Romance - Chapter 4: Unknown Truth
I am in some strange mansion located somewhere in the forest. I look around too see if Bill is around.
Unfortunately,I do not see him. I stare out at the stain-glass window at the gloomy forest in the midnight. I begin to wonder what the people who took me away want from me. I wonder what is going to happen. Then, I see them coming. They got closer and I saw something that had totally surprised me. They weren't mortals,they were vampires. Then, they slowly walk up to me.
''Hello young one.'' one of them say. OMG! It's my Uncle Chance!!!!
''U-Uncle Chance?! What am I doing here?! Let me go!'' I exclaim
''We will not hurt you. You are not gonna be held captive.'' another said
''Then why am I here? Why did you guys take me away?'' I ask lowering my voice but still angry.
''You're Kyra, right? And you're 20?'' another vampire asked
''How they know who I am?''
''They are your ancestors. They have known you for eternities.''
''Well, I don't know them.''
''We need to talk to you. There's something that you need to know. It's something that you never knew about.''
Then, I become completely calm. "I'm listening.''
''We heard that you were living with your older brother and sister,right.''
''Yeah.'' I answer
''They are one of us. You both had parents,but they had passed away. You were a baby when it happened. They did not want you to know that you are part of a family of vampires,so they hid their immorality and never told you about it. They have been hiding this from you all your life.''
''It didn't seem like they were hiding anything from me.'' I said
''Well turn around and see for yourself.''
I turn around and see a portrait of a young girl as a vampire. But that girl looks a lot like me. Wait a minute--that girl IS me! I am one of the vampires. Why haven't they told me? All these years I never knew that they were vampires. They have been keeping this from me all my life.
''That is why we brought you here. We figured that this was the right time to tell you. Now that we have told you, we will take you back. We apologize for earlier.''
''No it's fine. I now understand why you took me away.''
I am now back in the woods with Bill. He is finally conscious now. He runs up to me and hugs me. and I hug him back. I also begin to have a concerned expression on my face. I can't believe that I'm a vampire. But more importantly, I really can't believe what my brother and sister were hiding from me the whole time. What's also on my mind...should I tell Bill?
